NO WAY: 5 steps that are not required for everyday makeup

Hey sweeties! I am a self certified makeup junkie and self appointed makeup addict! I love everything about a beat face, perfect sister brows, and a radiating highlight for the GAWDS!!!!

However, I am a busy mom and wife. I am busy almost everyday. If you are like me, you just don't have time to beat your face to high heavens every......single........day!!!! I want to look beat without feeling beat up afterwards. Most of the time, there is a list of things you need for an everyday look but we are going to do this list backwards. Here are a few things your look can do without and still be a goddess.

DEEP CONTOUR

Contour is a step you can skip. Especially if you use a cream contour and then powder on top of it. Thats an extra step you can do without.

Instead: Use a light bronzer if you must. That way you are not looking like an egg and you've added some dimension to your face.

BAKING/CONCEALER SETTING

I don't know about you, but I don't have time to bake muffins in the morning let along bake my face. When I am doing a dramatic look before going out or if it is a day I am afforded the time to do this step, I am here for it but it would take up too much of my time in the mornings.

Instead: Try using a small amount of concealer that may be 1 shade lighter than your natural complexion or just use your complexion color to add some light to your face and use a beauty blender to distribute the product under your eye.

HEAVY EYESHADOW/BOLD LOOKS

Making an eye statement with straight off the runway looks is always CHIQUE. However, if I am going to a PTA meeting, its a little too dramatic.

Instead: Try a nice natural eyeshadow or no shadow at all. I like to use a little bit of my blush as my shadow on days that I cannot afford to do a bold look but I want a little bit of color on my lids.

BOLD LIPS

This can be a tricky one. Usually when I am on the go, I do not reach for my bold reds or even black. A colored lip is ok but it depends on the color in my opinion.

Instead: If you want to go bold and spruce up your look, a red lip is always a go but a nude lip will never go out of style.

LONG, BOLD FALSIES

Lashes are life! They just breathe life into any look but the long and bold lashes should be left for special occasions. Contrary to popular belief, bold lashes are for bold looks.

Instead: Try full yet natural falsies if you must wear them. Another option is to get a really good mascara.
