Oh The Shade!!! 6 Poppin Lipstick Shades That Are A Must For Summer

Shade One: What is a summer look without red? We're trying to look spicy out here in these streets so, the perfect shade of scarlet will give your summer look a pop.
Red is bold, daring, eye catching, and can be paired with almost any outfit. There are so many brands from drugstore to high end that offer great red lippies. One of my most absolute favorite red lipsticks comes from NARS in the shade Jungle Red. Shade Two: Nudes...nudes...nudes!!! Hey, we're talking lipstick here. If you're looking for a neutral shade that will match anything in your closet, you must add a nude lipstick to your makeup kit. There are several types of nude shades to choose from. Just like with matching the perfect shade of red lipstick....the same also applies when shopping for a nude lippie. Sis, we will get into that another time. The brand of nude lipstick that we are currently rocking is from Rihanna's Fenty Beauty Brand. Shade Three: Purple is where it's at and for summer...we will let you know the perfect shade. When you want to really bring some excitement to your summer look... a nice violet shade will add a nice pop to help brighten up your look. You can easily take a purple lip from day to night with shades ranging from a light lilac all the way to a deep plum. So, go ahead and be daring with this summer look. Urban Decay is known for their bright and bold lip shades which is why our favorite shade of purple comes from non other than Urban Decay. Shade Four: Orange you glad we included orange? Lol, ok...we couldn't resist that one. Orange gives off such a tropical vibe in the summer.
Whether it's included in clothing, accessories, or even as a nail color it just adds the right element of what we like to call "summer spice". If you're really looking to stand out this summer, we have to introduce to you one of our favs. Too Faced Liquid Matte Lipstick in Mrs. Roper. Shade Five: Our list cannot be complete without adding in Pink lipstick as a top summer shade. There is a vast range of pink lip shades and we are here for them all. Pink can be fun and flirty and also bold and "chique". We love adding a pink lippy as a pop of color with a fun print that we're wearing or with a solid color outfit.

Shade Six:
This summer the ocean doesn't have to be the only shade of blue that you see. Although a blue lippy may not be ideal for some...it can look fashionable and definitely add some fun to any summer look. The blue wave is strong with several brands offering this shade.
If you are looking for a gorgeous blue shade that is somewhat reminiscent of the 90's MAC Cosmetics has a really gorgeous shade called Designer Blue. This lipstick is a frosted high metallic deep ocean blue. This shade will definitely make you do a double take which is awesome for those IG pics.
